Her 4 month check up was on March 23rd. She weighed 14 pounds and 8 ounces; and was 2 feet 2 inches tall. The doctor said that she is very heatlhy and strong!!

We have been keeping ourselves busy. We had a "family" bridal shower for megan yesterday, which was fun.

My gramps is also in the hospital again. So if you could send good thoughts and prayers his way, we would appreciate it.

Week 16

Okay, I am falling behind again. So, this entry might be kind of long. I still have to add a few more pics later. We've had a busy schedule, with it going to stay busy until Megan's BIG day.

I took my mom to get her hair done at Abbie Flom's. (By the way, Abbie did a wonderful job. My mom looks so good, and she loves it!) She has a baby boy name Zabe that is about 1 month older then Emma. So of course, pictures had to be taken. Cute, eh?
Last Saturday, the 10th? Megan had a bridal shower on Mark's side in the morning, then we went to a birthday party for Alison.

Last Tuesday our friend Emily stopped by to borrow some of my maternity clothes. She is due in July. She finds out tomorrow what is going to be, can't wait!!!!!!!

Flower girl dress

Does anyone know of anyone who sews (did I spell that right?) dresses? I would like to have Emma's dress made for Megan's wedding ,but there is not much time left. Just curious if anyone knows anyone.

Visited the Larson's

On Tuesday night, Emma, me and and my mom went to visit aunt stacy and chad and cousins justin, jordan and Alison. It is so much fun seeing them playing/talking with Emma. It's kind of cool, because I remember all the kids when they were this age and now they are playing with Emma. Wow, how fast time passes!!

Week 15 or so????

A little update on us.
Everything is going pretty good. Derek is still laid off, but doing some of his "side" job/hobbies. He is such a good dad, I love it. Sometimes I wish I could just record some of his conversations with Emma. I know he wouldn't be to happy with that one thou.
It has been hard to be at work. I miss her so much. It is so hard to return to work after being of for almost five months. Especially when Emma has gotten so much fun to play with. She loves to hold on to things, and of course tries to get everything in her mouth.
My sister Megan is getting married on April 28th, so the next few weeks will be crazy. We will have to find Emma a dress to wear, since she is one of the flower girls. :)
Megan and Mark are a perfect couple, and I wish them the best. Love you guys!!!

Last Monday Emma had a ultrasound done and an appt. with her doctor re: her hip. The ultrasound looked great, so she got put into a different kind of brace that is only from the hip down just to wear at night and some during the day, yay!!!!
