demo, cabin & misc.

Derek was in a demo in Balsam Lake, WI on Sept. 1st. He took 8th place out of 27. I think he did pretty darn good on his first demo!
We left after the demo and headed straight up to Perham, MN to my Uncle Chad's parent's cabin. We will NEVER do that much driving in one weekend, let alone ONE DAY!

Here is our stop at St. Cloud to get Emma some food. She was "driving" when I got back out to the truck.

My mom brought Emma home one day last week, it was one of those days that was pretty chilly out. Well, My mom had a cute, but funky looking hat on her. Kind of cute.

her new piano

A few weeks ago, we bought Emma her first piano. It has probably been the best thing we have bought her yet. She LOVES it. She still likes to play Mom's thou. . . .

We we to visit Evan & Emily (&Jeremy) I believe Aug. 24. It was cute as can be to see Emma's reaction, I an not quite sure what she was thinking. But, I know they will be good buddies.

Grandmas b'day was on August 19th. Happy b'day grams! Here is cousin Ali and Emma playing some tunes on the paino.Here is Emma in her highchair, thought it was kind of cute.

Samantha came to babysit!

Okay, I have decided to try and catch up with things. During the first week of August (yes, August) cousin Sam came to stay the week and babysit Emma while we were working. Emma absolutly LOVED it!! Sam, come back whenever you want!!

This is Emma back in August. It is so hard to believe at that 7 1/2 months at that time, she is playing like she is. Here is is digging in her toy box.

Here is Emma and Daddy down at her Great-grandparent's house. She was helping her great-grandpa Alva open some of his b'day gifts. I can't wait until her b'day, she is going to have a blast! (I guess she had the same shirt on that day.)

Okay, I have about a month and a half to catch up with. I am on a mission to do that ASAP. So keep watch for new posts hopefully by the end of the day!!
