Here are some pics for your viewing. Sorry it has taken so long again. . . . These pics range from the end of April until last week.

This is how Emma feel asleep on daddy, I thought it was cute. Is is obsessed with sunglasses these days.
Emma LOVED Maison's car. When we went to visit, this would be her favorite toy to play with. So, here they are!Emma with sunglasses on again. This is how she normally puts them on, up-side-down.
Here is mother's day at Grandma's. Ali, Emma & Natalie
We finally broke down and bought Emma her own car.
Here we are going to Rochester. Can you tell that Daddy dressed her?!?

Long Time No See . . .

Yes, I know it's been forever. I think I may try to just keep up with the writing end of it, and if I get a chance to post pictures then its a bonus!

Well, I am 22 weeks along now. The weeks have just flew by, I hope this summer slows down a bit. I will have to post of couple of the ultrasound pics. (don't hold your breath)

We found out that we are having a boy, so that is pretty exciting. It is nice to know that we will have one of each atleast. Derek is pretty excited. We or I should say HE has picked out clothes with the construction theme already. It was pretty cute the other night while at Target, we get home and I am unloading the bags and there is a little boy pajama in the bag that had a cute saying on it about Dad's little "something", I can't quite remember.

Emma is doing good. She is now a little over 17 months. She loves playing with her dolls and loves to pretend to cook. She is talking more and more. It is always a surprise when she just comes out with a new word. I don't think she quite understand the whole concept of mommy being pregnant, which is understandable.
Our friends had a little baby girl almost a month ago and we went to go visit. All I can say is that Emma just couldn't get enough of her. It was cute, but we will have to defiantly keep an eye on her.

Okay, this will have to be all for now.
We will try again later.

My Uncle Ross (or as Emma says "uncle Ra-Ra) is having one of his hips replaced this morning. Please pray that he will have a quick & speedy recovery!!

Children's Museum

Auntie Megan has been wanting us to all go to the Children's Museum, so we finally had a chance to go a couple of weeks ago. The main reason that we went is because the Sesame Street exhibit is there. My mom, sister, Ross, Lori & Natalie also was with.
We first explored the rest of the museum. Emma was able to play with bubbles, blocks and tons of other things.
Here is Emma playing some building blocks.
Okay, finally what Emma was waiting for - SESAME STREET!
Here Emma is on TV with Elmo & cousin Natalie. It was a bummer b/c if we knew it we could of brought a blank video tape with and taped it!!
Not quite sure what this face is about?
Okay, not the best pic & no editing done. But here is a family pic of the famous building on Sesame Street!
Ernie & Bert!

Elmo & ____ (Emma would be so disappointed in me that I don't remember her name!! I think Abbie something?
Big Bird!
Some cute pics of Emma just playing!!

Emma is now 15 months! Her doctor's appointment is tomorrow, so I will hopefully post an update. She is so much like a "little" adult now. Her facial expressions are priceless. She loves playing with her dolls and likes to read books. There is much more to brag about, but it will have to be continued. . . .
And for those of you who haven't heard, Emma is going to be a BIG sister! We are expecting on September 2nd, so this will be quite an adventure! Now, if only we could get Emma to sleep all night, each and EVERY night!

Okay guys, here are some pics. . . . I know that I am neglecting updating this blog. So, please let this hold you over for now. These pics are a lot of the same, but you know. All the pics are so cute of your own kids so here they are.
I have tons of updates for you guys, so I will try my best this weekend to update.

Emma loves to "pretend" now. Between playing with her babies dolls to playing housing & cooking.

Grandma has a set of play dishes that she plays with when she goes out there. So, here they are!
Enjoy!!

My Little Girl is ONE!

Emma turned one on November 23rd and we celebrated her birthday last Saturday, the 24th.

We (mostly Derek) have been working very hard to finish our basement before her party. (With tons of help from family & friends, THANK YOU so much!) Derek was working right up until the first guests arrived. So, I would say that our basement is now 95% done - YAY! It's been a long time comin!

EMMA's Party - With knowing that Emma was going to have a BIG day I was trying so hard to get her to take a nice, long nap that morning. Well, I am pretty sure that she knew that there was some excitment around. My mom came over and they finally took a nap together, for only about an hour! She woke up just when the party started.

Here are some pics of the party . . .

Some cute pics, and Emma in her b'day dress I found for her -

Here is the cute cake that Aunt Prudy made for Emma.
Emma did not care for the cake AT ALL!
Emma opening presents . . .
Here is Aunt Megan & Uncle Mark with Emma. . Here is Emma's friend Evan (4 months now!)

Emma's friend Maison stopped by too! They got her the Elmo shake n giggle chair. They both tried to sit in it at the same time!

Here is a little trip down memory lane. . .

This is our first family picture in the hospital.

Here is a pic after Emma's first bath in the hospital (sorry it's sideways)

Emma's 1st Christmas picture. . .

Emma had her one year check up on Friday. She is a healthy little girl, Dr. Heilman was very impressed! She lost a little bit of weight, but the doctor said that is to be expected with how much walking around she is doing these days. She was 22 lbs, 4.8 oz. & 2 ft. 6.75 in. tall. She is the 95th percentile for height and I think 80 % for weight (don't qoute me on the weight, i will have to check)

She has been walking now for two months, she is crusing. She LOVES the stairs, doesn't know how to go down yet (scary!). She says a few words when she wants to. New to her vocabulary is Quack, Quack for her rubber ducky. Emma needs to always keep her self busy, she is always into something. Emma still has just 4 teeth, I think some are working their way in again.

Emma has changed so much over the pasted year, Thank you to all our family and friends who have helped us out over some tough times and been with us thru the good times. I know that Emma absolutely loves each of you! This has been a change forsure, but I wouldn't change it for the world!
